A FESTIVE AND SOLIDARITY MORNING EXPERIENCED AT THE POOL OF THE YACHT CLUB, IN CELEBRATION OF THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE “MULLA’T” CAMPAIGN.
Last Sunday, July 9, the Nautical Club together with the Port de la Selva Town Council celebrated a new edition of the "Mulla't" for multiple sclerosis, in the Club's swimming pool.
From 10 in the morning until noon, the doors of the pool remained open to everyone who wanted to share with us this day of solidarity and contribute to the collection of funds, which this year will be used to offer services and programs for when the Multiple sclerosis progresses and dependency increases, requiring more support on a day-to-day basis.
Young and old alike enjoyed a wonderful festive morning with music, diving, laughter, dancing and even an impromptu aquagym class.
And at 12 o'clock, when more than 400 swimming pools all over Catalonia were called to do the great solidarity jump, we all threw ourselves into the pool, as a symbol of solidarity and strength towards the people who suffer from this disease.
Previously, on Saturday, the boys and girls from the Nautical and Municipal Club homes received their "Mulla't" diploma, for their effort in swimming the maximum number of "supportive meters" in favor of this good cause.
